Rotunda Spaces

About us

A new name, built on twenty six years of kept promises and reputation.

“We started Rotunda over a gap in standards, not a gap in the market.”

Rotunda Spaces begins where our founders’ previous firm, Antara Interior Constructions, left off. Through Antara, our founders delivered workspaces for some of the most respected organisations operating in Sri Lanka — Unilever, KPMG, Qatar Airways, HSBC, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, CMA CGM, John Keells Holdings, Nations Trust Bank, Dilmah Tea and more.

Rotunda carries that lineage forward with a sharper promise: premium corporate fit-out, delivered with total accountability. The name comes from the rotunda — a circular room built around a single point. Every project we take on is built the same way: around one promise, kept.

The founders

Two founders. One standard.

Founder & Managing Director

I spent 26 years as the client. Rotunda is the partner I wished I'd had.

I'm a salesman at heart — but one who has spent a career chasing the why behind the work. I believe purpose is what keeps an organisation relevant in a world that never stops changing, and it's what makes the spaces people work in worth getting right.

For 26 years I've built and run operations inside demanding corporates. Twenty-two were at Mercantile Investments — a leading financial services company regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka — where I served on the Executive Committee as General Manager, Operations & Process Reengineering, sharpening the business through process optimisation, lean management and operational excellence, and coaching more than 40 leaders along the way. Today, as Group Chief Operating Officer of Hunas Holdings PLC, I oversee premium leisure properties and tea estates and factories — environments where the quality of a space is felt every single day.

That's the part that matters most to Rotunda: I've spent my career on the client's side of the table. I've commissioned the contractors, signed off the budgets, and lived with the slipping dates and creeping variation bills. I have been the Rotunda client — so I know exactly what a corporate decision-maker hopes for, and what usually goes wrong.

That's why I co-founded Rotunda Spaces — built for the client I used to be. One accountable team. One written promise: scope, budget and handover date, kept on every project. We're not the biggest. We intend to be the most accountable.

If you're rethinking your workspace, I'd be glad to talk — every enquiry reaches me personally.

Co-founder & Director

More than two decades inside the interior industry — building spaces, and the trust that holds them together.

I've spent my career inside this industry. For more than 25 years I've worked in interior solutions — sales, business development, client relationships and delivery — and over that time the fit-out world stopped being a business I worked in and became the one I know best.

Before founding Antara, I served in many organisations across the same industry, learning it from every angle and gathering the kind of rich, practical knowledge that only years on the ground can give. That foundation is what I went on to build Antara Interior Solutions (Pvt) Ltd upon — leading its vision and growth as Managing Director, while staying close to what actually matters: understanding what each client needs, building teams that deliver it, and being personally present in the partnerships that made Antara's name. Many of the blue-chip relationships Rotunda carries forward, I built myself — one kept promise at a time.

I believe success is built on three things — trust, innovation and people — and that the best spaces add real value not only to a client, but to the communities they serve. Where my co-founder spent his career on the client's side of the table, I've spent mine inside the craft of building for them. Together, that's the company we set out to create.
